So, getting phones hooked up today and I decided I wanted the phone number this house had all through my childhood :)
I might as well make it really weird living here :)

That would be weird for sure :)
The good news is the phones will be hooked up next Tuesday. Just in time for the Radio Show :)

Now that would be strange
My dad still has the same phone number he got when the phone company went with the 10 digit system |headbang|
Anybody else remember when you had to place all your calls through an operator
Around here you can still just dial the last number of the 3 number prefix and the last 4 numbers to make a local call

Jim's town is sorta backwards - fuck, they only have 1 cop car.

I grew up in Richfield Springs.. they still don't have their own police. Got a state troopers barracks instead.
I can remember sharing phone lines with other people.. used to be a pain in the ass if someone on our line was having a gab fest and you wanted to use the phone.

My parents still have the same phone # since 1967.
At least I didn't forget it :)

My sister has had the same number for, hmmm... 25 years. My Father close to 30. Neither of them has moved, so no problems.
I have had so many phone numbers, I can't remember all of them anymore.
I can remember being in places in newfoundland that still had party lines and 5 digital dialing.

Jim it would really be wierd if it was the same phone. Maybe one of those black ones stuck on a wall with short cord?
I've had the same cell number of about 7 years. Does that count for any thing?

That's cool. It was like that when I lived in Estes Park. (Granted, it was, um, a long time ago.)

They do have one of those big lunch box looking rotary phones that goes on the wall - except it's pink :D
