How long do the average listings take there nowadays, anyone know?

Hi Christy. |shake|
Kush: It's impossible to say, I'm afraid. It all depends on when someone comes by the category that you've submitted to. Some categories have inactive editors, some have active editors that log in daily - some categories don't have an active editor at all, but could still have a senior editor pop by at any time and review sites.
To give you an approximate idea you can always ask for site submission status at the Resource Zone (in the adult section).

Is there a limit to how many sites you can submit to dmoz per day? I have around 10 or so sites I'd like to submit, but I didn't want to over-do it.

No limit. |afro|
I just wanna say (again) that the Adult section of Dmoz lists sites a whole lot faster than the rest of Dmoz.

Currently have two mainstream sites waiting to be listed and I estimate they are submissions which are heading towards 8 months old. :(
But in the Adult section I got a site listed in a matter of weeks. :)

Hi urb. |shake|
You mean there's actually an adult webmaster who doesn't dislike dmoz?

I was just saying that *your* Dmoz department is probably 50 times faster at processing submissions than your Non-Adult Dmoz counterparts. :)
