Autosubmitters - how long until they start?

I was just wondering about how long it takes from when you submit your tgp to when they start submitting galleries?

Can be anytime but get ready for a lot of shit galleries.

I think when I last tested it, it was slow for about 5-7 days and then it was a flood. I have a client that has over 20k galleries in his queue and he just can't get rid of them fast enough.

I'm listed with Chameleon and Advanced(I think) and only about 200 submissions per day make it to my queue, but I filter fairly heavily. The first thing you want to do start blacklisting the free hosts. That helps a little bit. Then, as you start reviewing, keep a mental note of the things you don't like about submissions. Do the descriptions suck? Does a submitter use the same descrip every time? Do they have an odd habit of saying 'blonde' when the chick is a brunette? Do they always submit to the wrong category. Then start banning them for it. Those may seem like simple little mistakes, but if a submitter is always wrong or you just never accept their galleries for whatever reason, it's just makes life easier to start filtering them out as soon as possible.

I regret the day I ever submitted my site to an auto-submitter. Way too many submissions now and alot of them are crap.

You know, with all of the submitters on the board here, you would think that you could get enough people that would submit to you without having to resort to the autosubmitter route. Then slowly blend out your initial galleries.

I mean, there have to be a few dozen people that generate freesites here -- the board is rather friendly and community oriented.

That would be nice. I have posted in a few places asking for submissions, but nothing yet. I can understand it. My TGP is really new and it is foot fetish oriented - not just run-of-the-mill porn or. Maybe that's why no one has submitted anything yet.

Taking a look at your submit page you require an account to submit. Knowing auto submitters there are not many or any that will take the time to get one :(

I've found that a lot of experienced submitters aren't going to waste their time submitting to a brand new TGP when you beg for submissions. Waiting for good submitters to come along on a new TGP is just like waiting for the traffic to appear, so applying to a couple of auto-submission databases is a good start.

A few of my best submitters (who are members here) found me by using their auto-submitter.

I am registered with several auto submitters. You can see their recips on my submission page.

I don't require an account to submit galleries.
If you look you'll notice that it says:
"If you have a partner account, please fill in the username and password fields."

So if you don't enter a user name and password, the gallery can still be accepted.

I registered with the autosubmitters about a week ago, so maybe I'm just expecting too much too soon?

I did start to get some submissions from autosubs, and all of them have been bad. They're all completly the wrong category.

Hopefully something will filter through that's the right category - lol!
