Not sure if this should be a new thread or not, but it does deal with redirects. It may be old news to some, but its new to me.
I was reading an article on avnonline about "googlejacking". This is directly related to the subject of redirecting domains.
Reading that article lead me to this:
http://www.ysearchblog.com/files/wmw2004/search-engines-and-webmasters.ppt
There is some junk in it, but scroll down to the part about redirects.
Because there is a lot of mis-information out there, the power point presentation lead me to this for verification:
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/indexing/indexing-08.html
It seems that there is a glitch in the search engines when it comes to redirects. Yahoo says they have a handle on it, but google doesnt. At least at the time of the writings I read.
