I could use some feed back big time. I went looking for software to make a feed and was downright bewildered at the choices. So I opted for a desktop model figuring it would get my feet wet before I hopped into installing scripts. (Big pain in the ass on my sever)

Am I ready to start submitting it or does it need work, or do I need to start over from scatch LOL

Have you looked at feedburner.com? You can set up a feed there that you can list on your site. Once you do the initial set up you are all set. No manual updates...

Manual updating is not a problem due to the way I have to update my site everyday. I have to gather the joke anyway and the software I'm using (Feed for all) just pops it out and I can upload with the rest of the page.
Now that I have a feed how do I get it out to the masses? I know there are feed lists. Anyone got a good url that lists all the submission pages?

Hello, Snagglepuss!
I know some places that are useful for feeds/blogs promotion.
Here is a good tutorial for RSS feed and blogs promotion: http://blogforfunandprofit.blogware.com/blog
Here is a list of places where you can submit your feed: http://www.rss-specifications.com/rss-submission.htm. But please note, that not all of directories from this list allowing adult feeds.
Also, I have a category "Sex Blogs" in my linklist and you may submit your blog to it.

snagglepuss,
try using feedburner on your feed. then feedburner can turn on stats :) then publish your feedburner url rather than your rss url. that's one way.
other than that I'm not sure :(
