My mother in law has emphasema. Every once in a while, she gets lung infections and has to spend time in the hospital. Well, she went there today. My wife and I will be spending quite bit of time there tomorrow so I will most likely be scarce for most of the day.

I'll be here in the morning but then we are out of here.

The same thing happened last year about this same time.

This would happen to my mom from time to time. She also had asthma which made it much worse.

The doctors would say that she was born with asthma and that cigarettes gave her emphysema. She would go into the hospital, spend about a week, and then would come out fine for another year or so. She actually seemed to enjoy the hospital stays and loved going to her doctors.

She died some years ago in her late eighties of liver cancer.

I am pretty sure she will be fine. I just have to make sure she has a private room and go to her home and set it up for her to live downstairs.

Thanks Guys

Thanks everyone...
I had thought she would be fine but we just got a call saying she would be there for a while. I think something may be a little different this time.

Well, I am back for the night. I was screamed at for running home to send out the mailer for the radio show but, a man has to work...a little.

They just can't figure out what the hell is wrong with my mother in law. She has a lung infection, Diabetes and her blood pressure keeps going way up and way down. I say go to another hospital but what the hell do I know?

I they don't do something for her tomorrow, I am going to make sure she gets moved. Fuck these local hospitals. They killed my mother...I won't let them kill my wife's mother.

That's a scary combination. Do they even know what brought on the lung infection? I'm not a fan of hospitals either. They tend to ignore the amount of stress that they create when they are obviously baffled by the problem. I hopes she gets through this quickly.

They have no idea what is happening at all. It looks like we my cancel our trip this weekend.
