Another rainy day today. I found out last night that I have to go to a Jack and Jill party in 2 weeks. I have never been to one and really had hopes of never going to one. But, there I will be.

My mother in law wants to make her own funeral arrangements today. Like my grandmother did a few months ago. :) I have to be there so she doesn't get ripped off. Remember, never buy a coffin from a funeral director. You can say about 75% buying the same one online.

I almost feel human again. Been taking some over the counter allergy meds since yesterday and it seems to be helping, not that I like they way they make me feel at all.

I feel the need for some salt air and a swim in the ocean so I may go to the beach for a hour this morning before it gets really hot for the day.

Other than that I just have a few errands to run and then back home to do web work.

My DVD burner has broken down on me. I noticed a month or so ago that it burned just fine, no errors or anything. But the DVD is empty. I thought it was my DVD-RW's first, but today I tried with regular DVD-R, same thing. Of course the warranty ended 20 days ago |angry|
Weird thing is that it burns CD's just fine.

I went to the beach. I only stayed about a half a hour since I'm zombie pale and scared of ending up the lobster woman. Surf temp is already 80°F (26°C) and crystal clear. I need to start doing this again regularly, especially since I live less then five minutes from the beach.

I feel better already. I think my body is craving the outdoors and sunshine as I've spent around the last 10 months just remodeling and doing computer work.

I bought my PHP book with me. Variables seem so easy and then end up so complicated, made my head hurt. lol

Swedguy, to my knowledge, there is no cloth covering stapled to your DVD burner and no foam glued to the inside. I suggest buying a new drive rather than washing it with soapy water.

My Earthlink DSL just arrived and I hooked it right up. They only gave me 3 filters but I had a bunch more laying around. The hardest part was opening up my alarm system and cutting the phone line into it and then splicing a filter into the line since it didn't have a regular phone jack inside the box to plug the filter into.

It's only 1.5 meg download and 128 upload so I'm not going to be using it unless my cable goes out.

Generator will be here the first week of next month.

Our burner died a cpl months ago and we have finally ordered a new one.. which is good cos we are having 24 withdrawals, they didnt put the season on here this year :(
I also have my back up drive coming finally.
