I've added a bunch of permanent galleries to my tgp.

I uploaded my perm.txt file no problems there but I build my page and I'm getting duplicate galleries being show right next to each other. I cropped one thumb and its showing 2....not sure why.

Look at http://www.thefreepimp.com/tgp/tgp.html
to see what I mean the permanent thumbs are at the bottom.

The coding in your page template that creates the permanent gallery section must have duplicate coding. Check it carefully. If you still can't find it post your code here or in PM and I'll take a look.

Toby incase you were curious I contacted support and they told me I needed to add a "general category" and not used mixed for the permanent.

Works now.

hmmmm, I'm using mixed with mine and it works fine. What version are you using?

I am using the most current I think 3.1.x something.

post your template and someone will have a look over it and explain where it is wrong. I use agp myself with the permanent directive and the mixed option and am not experiencing the duplicate thumbs like you have so obviously theres a piece of code wrong somewhere.

He emailed me his template earlier, and the coding looked just like mine. I'm using version 3.0.4. Perhaps there's been a slight change with version 3.1.x

Support looked into it for me and gave the following reponse:

This problem is being caused by the category name you are using. In AutoGallery Pro the category Mixed is a special category that includes all of your other categories, and therefore you cannot have a category named Mixed. A new category named General has been created and all of your permanent galleries have been moved into that category so that they will display correctly. In the future make sure you do not add any more galleries to the Mixed category; it should eventually be deleted once you have all of your galleries migrated over to the General category.

Ahhh, I see now said the blind man to his deaf dog. ;)

You actually created a category named Mixed, so it was giving you the ones in that category, plus everything in all of the categories so you were getting the same ones twice.
