WHo's happy about winter being on the way, other than sales?

I personally watch and like to watch a lot more TV in the winter time, Im all about Friends, and the Thursday night Lineup, Third Watch and CSI, not to mention it's not that cold here in Florida in the winter (although we do have our moments).

Spend a winter in Chicago and see how quickly that attitude changes.

I do love the Fall though.

I live in south Florida, we only have really hot and comfortable hot.

Yeah winter, I get to wear long sleeve tops and take the top out of my car.

Wait, sales get good again in the winter, can you say shopping. :D

I for one do not like the winter. Like Dr. Bizzaro said, try it here in the north for a while.

However being a huge sports fan, Hockey and Football and basketball as well the winter brings on all new enjoyment. Plus all the new TV shows are out too. CSI rocks and are the Sopranos on again this fall?

Trust me when i was working for Home Depot I was transfered to Michigan, what a miserable cold place that is, and I went to Chicago in July (my birthday) and had a blast, nike Town, and at that time the Jordan Restraunt, seeing all the stadiums, what a nastalgic place.

I cant wait for Hockey and Football season again.

South Florida! I used to visit a girlfriend down there in the Boca/Fort Lauderdale area, and everytime I'd step outside my glasses would steam up. And that was before we danced the mattress mambo.

Winter here is truly beautiful jere, but today I showed, got dressed, and drove to the ATM. I had to wait in line for less then 5 minutes, but by the time I was done my clothes were soaked with sweat and I had to take another shower when I go home, lol.

I'm originally from Iowa -- a place where it's against the law if kisses last longer than five minutes -- and the humidity was so thick there you could cut it into retagular shapes and freeze it as ice cubes. And taking a shower was a total laugh riot. You'd get out, dry yourself off, and you'd be wetter than before you took the shower. Though, I remember south Florida was even more oppressive.

Yikes!...I'm starting to sound like my parents -- I'm talking about the weather! But what the hell. In the next thread lets discuss that remarkable feeling of just-baked-freshness that comes with good regularity.

If this winter is same as last one, I will hate it. We had tons and tons of snow. I don't care about the cold. I have been more than once in Siberia, and after that you don't care about the cold anymore.

I have lived most of my life in Helsinki, our capital, and winter is usully mild there, and you see the first snow in January. Well, not last year, they had as much as we had here in Tampere.

Yesterday I was out, it was +11 Celcius, and it was COLD! Whole summer of +30 C is addictive, lol!

They don't have time to look at porn, they are out shoveling snow all day.
