Saturday - Sex Show, Seminars, Sports & Sluts!

Today I'm planning on actually seeing the floor, catching the 11:00 seminar on Age Verification, hopefully the 2:00 seminar on Porn Under Attack, meeting up with Rabbit & catching up with Far-L.

There's also football on today, which really has me torn as to what to do :D

jaYMan's taking us to the AVN Awards @ 8, so we're gonna meet up here 1st & have cocktails (well, not me - but twice I have ordered a Red Bull & recv'd a Vodka & Red Bull - nothing like being tempted)

I'll recap the day before I head out for the night.

I'm impressed with the amount of restraint and self discipline you have shown by not drinking in such a temptation filled setting - congrats!|thumb

Greenguy, congrats for not drinking. It's tempting, and it's hard as heck in social situations not just give in. But there are reasons and explainations (to yourself) why you are not drinking, and over time it becomes easier to handle it and easier to deal with the questions and offers that you get. I still get in situations where people offer me wine, a shot at the club, or tries to buy me a beer without asking first. Handling those makes the rest of it easy.

I am sober since 2001. It feels wonderful. :)

This has probably been beaten to death on the boards, but I did see the floor & it is sad. You could drive a semi thru & not hit a booth. AVN has the biggest booth right smack dab in the middle of the convention (I have to assume no one else wanted to buy that space)

I spoke to a couple of booth advertisers that were not at all happy with how this show is going because of the lack of booth & the lack of people on the floor. This is by far the worst attended Vegas convention that I have ever been to.

...and there is PLENTY of room on the floor so that the seminars could have been held there as well.
