Day one was pretty cool :)

I spoke at the 1st seminar & while I think I rambled on & made no sense when answering questions, others have been nice to me, telling me that I did a good job (ass kissers) I was asked why LL's are still a good source of traffic & what I felt the future of LL's was going to be - those that know me can probably guess what my replies were :D

I think I fucked up my portion of the roundtable discussion that followed because I had to take a piss & then had a smoke in the hall, which meant that anyone looking for me for a little Q & A probably got annoyed with the lack of me :D

I didn't go to any other seminars yesterday due to staff meetings & hog roasts.

The center bar was packed right at 5, so we gambled on the fringe of the mob for a couple hours & then had another lovely Pink Taco dinner |thumb

After that, we were supposed to meet up with everyone at 9 for the pool party, but The Bitch, Docholly & I seemed to find a table game that consumed the next 4 hours of our lives (well, docholly when home early, but I'll let her bloody mary ass explain that one)

Today I will be going to at least 3 seminars & I think that since I am awake before my lovely bride, I should order us some breakfast in hopes of bettering my chances for sex |bananna|

I was asked why LL's are still a good source of traffic & what I felt the future of LL's was going to be - those that know me can probably guess what my replies were :DI learned one very important thing during that seminar - if you are relying on free traffic you are fool! So, everyone go out and buy some traffic right now! That's what you get when 2 of the 4 panelists are traffic brokers. ;)

This is my first show and I'm damn happy that I came to this one. Xbiz is doing a bang-up job of keeping us entertained and I've heard zero complaints about registration - which was a flash.

Last night's party, which GG and the Bitch missed, was very cool. I thought Tart was going to open up a can of woop-ass on some punk who took the seat she was saving for the Bitch. She managed to retrieve the seat, but I convinced her to give it back the idiot, since it seemed pretty obvious that GG was busy donating to the casino and not coming the party. The Hard Rock's pool has a sandy beach, and Celtic Tiger, Tart and I sat in big orange inflatable chairs, enjoying the warm desert breeze, free booze, and the scantily clad dancing girls who were on a cement island in the middle of pool. Tart wanted me to fuck one of those inflatable chairs for Emma from NaughtyNiche, but I was busy falling in lust with the wonderful little cocktail waitress. I don't know what I liked the most about her, the fuck-me boots, the fishnet stockings, the tight leather shorts, or the pretty smile she had when I would tip her. (whore!) Toby would love the way these Hard Rock girls dress.

I somehow mangaged to have a couple of Coronas, a margarita, and a few Heinekins yesterday evening, but never paid for a single one - so that's a big |thumb

I really wish my wife could have come for this trip. She loves Vegas, but more importantly, it would be really nice to have someone here to bang after a solid day of drinking.

sssss why are you all shouting???? keep it down...

I'm in the room posting so I'll be uploading more pictures..

GG was really the only one who made sense.. 2 of the guys are brokers and the blogger was a blithering long winded idiot who must like doing voice posts because he loves to hear himself talk.

I won 300 just before the Cocktail party.. but gave it back plus another hundred at the aforementioned hold 'em table. for some reason every time i turned around there was another BLOODY mary sitting there.

Cabbed it home around 1230am.. and crawled out of bed at 630am to go have breakfast with our friend charlie and drool over his GREAT room at the Palms. (pics to follow)

Xbiz is, in my opinion, so very much better than Internext was in January.

People here are actually able to talk to each other and do some biz.

Highlight of the day.. eating at the Pink Taco with TPat!! |thumb

What did the blogging guy have to say about traffic? Anything worth listening to?

And what type of traffic brokers?

What did the blogging guy have to say about traffic? Anything worth listening to?...I can honestly say that everything that was covered on blogs was covered when Boogie was on the Radio Sow :)

Can anyone tell me who one the XBiz business quote contest?
From what I heard, you did, but you were obviously not there to collect the prize :(

I really, really hope that wasn't the case.

I only entered the thing as a giggle, didn't expect to be a finalist. And then it came down to a question of "Do I want to spend $4000 on airfares and other costs for a 1 in 10 chance of winning $10,000?"

Ah well.

Honestly, I think I was told that they called your name, but I wasn't there so I can't be 100% certain.

Before they did the drawing or whatever for the winner, they first called out the names of the finalists to see who was present. I believe they yanked the names of those who weren't there, which was half of them. Personally, I think it's just plain idiotic. If someone created the best slogan, why is it no longer best due them not being there? I wouldn't want to grant an award to the 2nd or 3rd or 4th best.
