Hi, I'm looking for a new, better version of what I'm using for my free 'zine site.

Right now I use vSignup, it's php and allows a member to submit their name, email and a username/password combo to use to access the site. It then emails the user a confirmation link and that activates their account.

The problem is it won't let me email the users that are signed up.

I need a script that will work the same way vSignup works, but allow me to send out bulk marketing emails.

I ran accross a script like this a while back but am completely unable to find it again. If you know of a free or inexpensive (generally) php/mysql script that will do what I need, I'd really appreciate a link to the site offering it.

Thanks a ton for anyone who can help me out. :)

mojo (http://mojo.skazat.com/) - it's free, powerful and pretty easy to use.

Good Luck :)

Um... not exactly that dada mail list manager. I'm looking for a script more like ce's mags... where a user submits their name and email to gain access to a website. Not a newsletter subscription.

My current vSignup script will take and confirm an email to activate their username and password to access the members area, but i don't have access to those names and emails unless I export the database and then it's got a bunch of extra text that the script uses to verify users.

I want something built in to the script that will let me fill out a form and submit it to the entire database of active members.

Anyone know of anything like this or no?

Like I said, I found something a while back but I still can't find it again.

Hi FLikstah, I have actually written a php script for precisely what you are looking for. Go to http://www.emailtoenter.com to get it. Basically it allows access to your members area with an email address. Collects surfers ip address and date of signup for your protection. Sends them a confirmation email which they have to click an activation link on. Has removal program, bulk email program which allows for html/txt emails and also personalizing of emails. Personalizing of the members area, lost password retrieval and you get unlimited domains with your license and all updates free.

I think this might be what your looking for.

If you have any questions feel free to hit me up.
