Session IDs & Google

Anyone have any thoughts about session IDs and how Google is treating them lately?

In particular regarding Vbulletin / PHPBB? If I make the URLs flat (which is possible), will this improve SE spidering?

Or is it better to let Googlebot do it's thing? :)
