<YAWN> Good Morning Peoples!
My niece slept over last night & my wife decided it'd be ok for her to sleep in our bed, so all night long I got kicked & punched by a 5 year old in her sleep - LOL - I gave up trying to sleep at 5:30, but right about now, this couch in my office is looking mighty good - LOL
I'll be scarce for most of today - party time :D

SLEEP? never heard of it |jester|
Good morning everyone :)
I have a transfer quagmire today. Normally I would just telnet into the old server and make a tarball of the old files and then telnet into the new server and do a ftp get of the tarball and it would be moved at whatever size pipes the two servers where connected usually in just a few minutes.
For some strange reason the old server will not let me make a tarball big enough to hold all the files.
To make matters worse the old webmaster used FrontPage with the Frontpage extensions and the site is one giant big mess of duplicated random files thrown all over the place in many different directories all over the place. My FTP program can do server to server transfers but chokes on this big mess and as you may or may not know the command line FTP only does files not directories so you have to make a tarball or gzip file or something first which the old server doesn't want to do.
Goodday all :)
What on my schedule today.. hmm.. I got invited by two girls to have a BBQ at their home in an hour or 2.. maybe I should take my camera with me |bananna|
Anyway, enjoy this lovely day :D

Good Morning everyone...
I went to sleep at 8:30 last night and just woke up...almost 12 hours later :) I feel pretty good but with so much sleep, it's a little hard to wake up :)
I will be scarce most of today as well. No party but I am going to spend most of the day with my Granddaughter. I haven't seen her since February.
Good morning :)
Going to Greenies for the festivities |party
Lets hope for no rain:)

It has already done over a gig so I'll know for sure in about an hour, but it looks like it is going to work.
scp is your friend when you need to move directories without taring them first.
