Hi all,

First time posting here. My question is for Greenguy: I submitted my paysite August 25th for the Girl/Girl section. On September 2nd, much to my dismay, the site went down for about a week due to hosting problems.

I assume the reviewer skipped my submission because the site wouldn't load, so should I just re-submit?

Thanks,

M31

We declined it - probably because of the links opening in new windows :(

Yes, some links do open in a new window. I'd be happy to remove the target_blanks on my site if it will help my chances. Do you see any other reasons I might be declined?

Thanks a bunch.

I don;t see anything else that would get you declined, but you might want to read this before you submit again :)

Thank you, Greenguy. What's funny is the reason I put in the target_blanks to begin with is exactly that -- to allow the surfer access to an external link without letting him get away.

You're right, my goal is to keep him focused on my site. It's kind of a delicate balance between keeping the surfer's attention and sharing traffic with your friends/partners. To be honest, when I look at my logs I see very few people clicking the external links anyway. If they're not interested, most people just leave.

I have a re-design coming up shortly, and I'm going to re-think my external links. I'll try submitting again then.

Thanks again, Greenguy. I'm glad this board is here.
