The Game was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the fans were insane. If it was reported correctly there was over 22 thousand fans INSIDE the arena and an additional 30 thousand outside the venue!!
At my house there were only 4 of us, but I swear we screamed as loud as the ones who were in the building! (my poor neighbors) seeing that cup get raised at the St Pete Times Forum was incredible.
Both teams are/were incredible.

It was a good game & my hat is off to Tampa - they did get screwed on that penalty to Pratt, but pulled it off in the end. Calgary looked like they didn't care until they scored that goal & I didn't even notice that there were hardly any shots during the game (32 total is far from the norm)
I have a feeling the Extreme Boys are still drunk :D

It was a good game. Yes that penalty against Pratt was fucked. The refs made some wierd calls but overall the series was reffed ok.
Congrats to Tampa, they out played Calgary in the game for sure.

Robyn, for a lot of Americans who do not watch much hockey this was a good series to start. It was good hockey without a lot of bs. That's the way it's suppose to be played, hard and fast and exciting.
and just think... in about what? 2 weeks or so, they'll start the regular season again... |jester| |bananna|

|sad| As a Canadian it was tough to watch, It is supposed to be "our game" but the sunshine state did it and KUDOS to you for that. It is probably the same feeling for me that you felt, or many Americans did when the Blue Jays won the World Series two years in a row in the early 90's.

All I can say is WOW thanks to Extreme John we had center Ice seats 13 rows up from the ice, ....wow...wow...wow that place was so loud and so out of control Ive have never been to a better sporting event in my life. I have to say this is one of the best 7 game series Ive seen in a long time, and to be a part of it was just amazing. Hats off to both teams for a Kick ass series.
GO BOLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!|roses| |roses| |roses| |roses|
