Part of my roof is gone, some windows are broken and it is still raining cats and dogs... the chairs, table, etc. were flying in the garden causing more damage outside.

Just wondering what else may come.. :(

Holy cow, digifan, that sounds scary as hell. I hope you're not there on your own. :(

Glad to hear that you are ok.

Sounds like your home is a mess. :(

I'm actually sitting here renewing my windstorm insurance as I was reading the board and saw your post.

Last week had to take mom back to hospital so I'm on my own... and they forecast more rain and hail... this rain will nevr stop, we got too much already and have floods and small towns covered by mud. What a weather!

It sounds like something straight out of a movie. I grew up in Toronto and vaguely remember hunkering down in the basement during a similar episode, but we don't get anything like it over here. I'm sure you'll be fine though, and you've always got us for company - I know, you're thinking, wa-hay! :)

Just don't go watching the movie twister! |couch|

That's sort of funny... I was not able to post here for some odd reason without crashing for more than a month though I reisntalled my browsers.. I mean Mozilla and Netscape crashing every time I hit reply.. and now it's working again just when needed :) I was to contact you Cleo yesterday about it.

It is messy inside and outside, I had my windows open but could have been even worse.

No horror movies, thanks Kristian.. just was watching the news and enough horror.. a man walking in a park and the wet ground opened and he disappeared in a deep hole. The fireworkers found him dead after two hours of work.. and lots of similar stuff the press digs. Broken trees eevrywhere... my strawberries were almost ready to pick and eat but they are gone with the storm. Less work for me :)

Thanks Cleo :)

It is not big at all but looks fine.. here is is part of my living room, the pic was taken when I decided to get rid of the white walls and used pale yellow and green colors and curtains to separate the place with colors.. I have fly-screen and bars installed on the windows so feel safe. On the right pic you can see my orchids, I'm very proud of them.

Great pics.. part of the was posted as the shemale quiz, I remember that but could not reply, kept crashing so was lurking mostly here.. I am a water baby, I could use at least a lake here instead of the forest or part of it.
Awesome pics!

We just entered hurricane season. The local news here likes to scare the hell out of us each year. It doesn't help that I'm in an evacuation zone, not that I actually ever do evacuate.

You are brave :) If you feel safe, have your own generator and enough food in the fridge in case of emergency, that's ok... and you can always make a hurricane party to help you with the windows :)

I just look at hurricane season as nature's lottery for getting a new roof and lots of remodeling at my insurance's expense.

Well, I think things will get better eventually, even though it probably doesn't seem like that now. I am sure we've been in the situation where everything seems to go wrong and you can't believe things will ever be good again. But the bad times do pass eventually.
So we should do what we can not to get stressed out even it's that's not easy... there are times I think God has definitely been on a long vacation - and he's still sipping cocktails on a beach somewhere...

Kazza,

I am trying to figure out how to send you some extra rain as attachmnet.. or via ftp maybe.. we are getting a lot still. :)

Tornados suck, GG but snow? I even like those friendly and safe rainy hours.. no need to water the grass or plants...

Thanks everyone!
