I can read your minds you know :)

Just a little FYI - MML had his main HD crash yesterday morning :( He got a new one installed, but was having trouble moving files from the old one to the new one (some sort of copy protection script or something silly like that) He could FTP the files to one of our servers from the old HD & then download them to the new one, which would take him a week. So I think he was gonna run one of those file recovery programs on the old HD to see if it could move some stuff over to the new HD a little faster.

From the sound of things, his does have all his data, just having trouble restoring it.

I would say that if anyone needs MML for anythign to ask me, but that man wears way too many hats - LOL - so sit tight & await his return :D

Hmmm… I was trying to copy a bunch of files from one FireWire drive to another FireWire drive on Angel's PC and I kept on getting errors like this. After spending a bunch of time I said fuck it and connecting the drives to my Mac and copied everything without any problem.

That reminded me..time for a backup..here in da country, we get brownouts like water running from a brook..and my ups died and have not had time to get a new one yet..
time to back up this baby to dvd..

I was going to say "It's kind of hard to lose MML. He's big, doesn't move that fast and he's always wearing a big pair of tits on his head!" How can you lose something like that?

Back Ups??? do I need those LOL

DD - tried a tape backup here for about a week.
After hours and hours on tech support, stupid ass thing could only connect to a windows server.
(and of course, that's Not in the faq's)

Simply burning everything to Dvd.
