download set-up question

How do I set up files for immediate download after someone has purchased them? - ie. content Any help is appreciated or even a link where I can read up on how this is done.

Okay, my apologies for not being clear.

I have text stories that I sell as content. After a client has made a purchase, I usually email the zip file of content to them. What I want to know is if there is a way to have my content on site for immediate download after a purchase has gone through.

I hope that is a little clearer - but I haven't had my necessary coffee intake yet today.

It sounds like what you'd need is somw sort of shopping cart that's hooked up to ftp for downloading?

I'd say it's not 100% necessary for the buyer to have the content as soon as the purchase goes thru. I realy can't think of a time when I bought content & needed it that very minute - LOL - I know I have no problem waiting for a reply with info for downloading or waiting for the CD to come in the mail :)
