We have decided to make a new forum in our list of forums. We call it "Chit Chat"...When you would like to talk about your sick cat, someone you think is hot or ask if webmasters still get turned on, that is the forum for you. ~ Jim's Tip And Trick ~ ~

Those Cool Icons
I'm sure everyone at one time or another has seen the cool icons some websites have that shows up next to their URL when you go to their website. And when you Bookmark the site, this little icon appears next to the link in your favorites.

I always thought these were cool but little did I know, browsers actually look for these icons on your websites. Go ahead, take a look at your error logs and see how many times you find the following error. File does not exist: /data/wwwroot/yourwebsite.com/favicon.ico

So, here is what you do to not only have a cool icon but to save a little space in your error logs.

Make a small icon about 32 x 32 and save it as favicon.ico. Once saved, upload it to all of your directories. That's it, apparently the browsers do the rest.
