Keep Your Content Legal
In this day of CHEAP and FREE content, there is absolutely no reason to steal your content from Newsgroups or other sites. If you plan on being in this business for any length of time, it's just not worth it.
If you are caught using stolen content, not only will your fellow business people, label you as a thief, but there are many legal ramifications. The first is the affidavit that will be sent to your host demanding that your site be shut down. If you are running a pay site, expect your credit card processor to get the same affidavit. Next will come the lawsuit that win, lose or draw will cost you much more than if you were just legal.
