Stop and Smell the Roses
As you may or maynot have noticed, I have not been doing the newsletters as of late. I want to thank Greenguy for taking up the slack I left behind and I think he did a great job.
People that have read my newsletters for the past 5 or 6 years know that during Christmas time, I usually try to remind everyone to stop working and spend time with your loved ones.
Well, after the past few weeks, I think it is time to remind you again. And this time, I am going to take my own advice.
This is one of the few businesses where you can take time off each day and you will still be making money. I remember in a meeting in the summer of 97, a friend of mine said over a drink, "isn't it great, that even now we are making money?"
Many people feel that if they take a day or two off, their business will fall apart. But friends, I am here to tell you, we will be here when you get back. Your business will be fine and, you will feel much better about yourself and in turn, you will feel better about your business.
With Summer either being here or in my case, quickly approaching, the time to enjoy life is now. Do yourself a favor and plan your days and weeks. And schedule in your loved ones for some of your precious time. You will make your loved ones happy, yourself happy and when you return to that pc you loved when you first got it but have started to hate, your time management skills will have greatly improved and your pc will again, be your friend.
