Promoting a FREE SITE
Many people have asked how to promote Join For Free type sites to their full potential.
The first thing you are going to want to do is to sign-up for all of the FREE SITE programs. Just because one program works best for your friend, doesn't mean it will work best for you. You really need to try all of them to see what works best with your traffic. Take a look at our handy resource page HERE and find sponsors that offer FREE SITES.
When advertising a FREE SITE, there is nothing that works as well as a full page ad. But, when you are unable to use a full page ad, make sure whatever you use, you add text explaining exactly what the surfer should expect. Let them know the site is truly free. Let them know that the site is full of content. Let them know that they should expect a confirmation email. The less surprises to the surfer the better.
Some people see that FREE SITES convert so well, they decide to just redirect their traffic to one of them. When you are able to do this...DON'T. Instead, use a full page ad...you will be surprised at the difference.
