Honesty and Integrity
Over the past 4 Years, plus or minus, I have been giving webmasters a new Tip and Trick in many Newsletters. While thinking about a new Tip and Trick for this week, I started thinking about the ultimate advice I could give anyone in this business.
Since starting in this business over 7 years ago (damn), I have seen a lot of people come and go. While many people just couldn't make it work, a lot of them were forced out because of using less than ethical business practices.
This business has a tendency to force out both sponsors and webmasters alike that don't play by the rules. And once you are gone, it's much harder to start again. Nobody wants to deal with someone that has cheated the system.
So, please treat people as honestly as you would want them to treat you. The only thing you have going for you in this business is your good name. Once that's gone, you can never get it back.
