A New Forum Unwritten Rule
We are one of the few sites around that allow html in your Forum Signature.
All in all, this has worked out very well for the webmasters that visit and post on the Forum. We are very surprised that nobody has really abused this privilege by doing something really stupid :) But, so far, so good.
We have decided to allow banners no larger than 120x60 in your signature when you post on GreenguyandJim. Thinking about it, we think that is the fair thing to do for our sponsors and webmasters.

Make Money With TGP Submissions
There is a fine line between making money with TGP galleries and spending money on bandwidth. There seems to be a common misconception that getting listed on the larger TGPs, will have you making tons of cash. If you don't use a good design technique, you may find yourself spending much more money on bandwidth that you had planned.
If you follow these basic techniques, you will make more than you spend.
Use More Text Than Graphics
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that using text vs. graphics will save you a lot of bandwidth. But, something not everyone understands is the art of pre-selling a sponsors site with text is alive and well in the TGP world. I have found it best to talk about the site you are trying sell. Explain what the surfer will get and how much it will cost. And by all means, if the site is FREE or has a FREE TRIAL, tell the surfer, over and over again.
Your Choice Of Content
When choosing your gallery content, remember to keep it fresh. If you want to get listed on larger TGPs, the best thing to show them is something they haven't seen before. There are many content suppliers out there that offer high quality pictures at a reasonable price.
Advertise The Category You Submit
One of the most common mistakes people make is to advertise a site that does not match the category they submit. For example, if you submit an Amateur Gallery you would not want to try to sell a membership to a Teen Site.
All in all, there is a lot of money to be made submitting to TGPs. There is also a lot to be lost. Follow this simple advice and you should be fine.
