Choosing A Sponsor
Remember, when choosing a sponsor, look at their track record. Look and ask around about their business practices and make sure they are stable. Stay away from sponsors that close their doors and open months later with a new program. Now, I'm not saying that all sponsors that close their doors and open again are all bad. Some of them actually have no choice and will try to help their advertisers any way they can.
The sponsors that I am talking about are the ones that close their doors and open with a brand new program. Ask yourself this, does the new program still pay its advertisers that never received the news of the original closing and ultimately never removed their links? Or, is that sponsor just cashing in on the webmasters lack of knowledge?
Advertising programs come and go. It is best to stick with those in business continuously for the past several years. They must be doing something right.
