Do You Need To Signup Again?
As you know by now, our Forum database took a crap last Tuesday evening. The reason for this was that GreenguyandJim's Hard Drive crashed.
For a lucky 200 of you, your account information is still in the database. But, for the rest, you will need to signup again. We know that this entire ordeal sucks. But, please bare with us.
So, you need to do a few things. First, get to the GreenguyandJim Forum and say hello, all over again :) Next, if you signed up to our Sports Pools, you will need to go HERE, and do it again.

Quick Server Move
As everyone knows by now, we were forced to move GreenguyandJim kind of quickly twice last week. If you host your own Nameserver, a quick move really isn't a problem. But, if you are like most, you don't have access to the Nameserver that controls your DNS.
Here is a "Hypothetical" scenario where a quick move might be useful. Say you move to a host where they notice that you are running too slow. They decide to give you a new server that can handle the extra load. After a few days, someone in the support department doesn't notice that the server you are using is plugged in and running strong. So this person decides that there is no reason not to unplug it and use it for something else. You then notice that your site is down and call to see what's up. They tell you about this terrible mistake and that there is really nothing they can do but put you back on the box that could not handle the load in the first place. It is now time to move and move fast.
You now have a new host and a super fast server setup waiting for traffic. But, your DNS still points to the old slow server. In this case we turn to our old friend htaccess. With this simple htaccess code in your root directory, you will be using the new fast server instantly.
Simply open up your favorite text editor and place the follow line of code on top.
Redirect / http://yournewipaddress/
Then save this file as ".htaccess"
Upload this new htaccess file to your root directory of the old server and you are set to go.
Greenguy tells me that when he sees these kinds of redirects on his linkbot, he lets them slide. So, if your site is
http//www.joeblow.com/amateursex/index.html
and he sees it redirecting to
http//123.45.67.89/amateursex/index.html
He will let it slide for a few days
