Keep Tuesdays from 8-9 PM EST open starting next Tuesday and from now on because Greenguy and Jim are on the air. That's right...we are doing our very own radio show.

Search Engine Friendly Tables


When making up web pages using tables to lay out a page with a sidebar to the left, most will usually make up the table like this:

Side Bar

Main Body Text

The problem with this is that when the SE's come into spider your page, rather than seeing your main body text first off, it 'sees' the contents of the left side bar. This isn't what you want for search engines. You want the main body to go first. The trick is to do something like this:

	Main Body Text In Here
Side Bar

This now puts all your important text in the first row, ahead of the side bar which has now become the second row!
