Keep Tuesdays from 8-9 PM EST. Last Tuesday and every Tuesday from now on Greenguy and Jim are on the air. That's right...we are doing our very own radio show.

I just want to take a moment to say, last Tuesday's was a great show. As you could tell, it was completely unscripted and we still had over 80 people in the chat room and 150 people listening.

Image Tips


Here are a few handy little HTML tips for the images and graphics in you web pages!

1) Wrapping text. If you want to wrap text around a photo or a graphic on your page - try this with the IMG align tag.

IMG SRC="yourimage.gif" ALIGN="left" WIDTH="50" HEIGHT="50" ALT="alt text here"

In this example the image will be aligned left on your page, which will make any text around the graphic wrap from the right. Once you have tag in place, start your text on the line below the image tag.

2) Vspace & Hspace. Now that you know how to wrap text around you images, you can take it a step further and set the horizontal and vertical spaces between your image and text (or other page elements too) like this:

IMG SRC="yourimage.gif" ALIGN="left" WIDTH="50" HEIGHT="50" VSPACE="5" HSPACE="5" ALT="alt text here"

In the example above, a vertical and horizontal space of 5 pixels will be set. Have a play with these simple tags, they are great for giving your pages a neat look - and always remember to set the width and height in your IMG tags, for quicker page loading!

Note: Don't forget the greater than and less than signs in the examples above.
